Grocery stores and pharmacies to close for two days.
In today's press conference, Premier Doug Ford announced that on Friday, April 10 and Sunday, April 12, grocery stores and pharmacies would close, allowing workers a much needed break during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"“The truth is that everyone working in our grocery stores and pharmacies, our truck drivers and those working the line, they have been working day and night for weeks to keep the food and medicine we need on the shelves,” Ford said.
