The 30th Annual Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala takes place Friday, October 23, and 35 of those nominated are our own Belleville Chamber of Commerce members!
This year, over 300 nominations were submitted by customers, employees, and community members throughout June, resulting in more than 100 businesses, organizations, and individuals being recognized across 13 award categories; and over a third of those are BCC members. Nominations celebrate outstanding business practices, innovation, leadership, community involvement, and exceptional customer service.
“As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of this regional program, we are proud to continue bringing municipalities, chambers and community partners together to recognize excellence across the Bay of Quinte.” says Jill Raycroft, QBAA Committee Chair, and BCC CEO.
“The value of the QBAA program is rooted in identifying clear standards of achievement and we’re always impressed by the calibre of nominees presented each year. It’s also important for nominees to feel the value in being nominated – someone took the time to put their name forward because their business or their service was part of an exceptional experience that deserves to be acknowledged.”
The QBAA gala will serve as the culminating event of Bay of Quinte Small Business Week, which takes place across the region from October 19 to 23. This year’s QBAA awards celebration will be held at Legacy Event Centre, located at 4211 Old Highway 2, in Belleville. Cocktails and networking begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and the awards presentation at 8 p.m.
