BELLEVILLE, May 26, 2026 — The Belleville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to celebrate the grand opening of Ya YA Foods Belleville, operating as Truss Beverage Co., at 540 College Street East.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 10 a.m., and was attended by local municipal dignitaries and community leaders, marking a significant milestone in Belleville’s growing manufacturing sector.
Ya YA Foods Corp. is a leading North American co-manufacturer in the food and beverage industry. Yahya Abbas, CEO of Ya YA Foods Corp, selected Belleville as the home for its newest state-of-the-art beverage production facility. The facility is strategically located to optimize distribution across Canada and the United States, strengthening cross-border logistics and positioning the company to better serve a growing customer base.
“Belleville offered a strong sense of community, access to talent, strategic logistics, and a supportive business environment that aligned with Ya YA Foods’ long-term growth vision,” said Yahya Abbas, CEO of Ya YA Foods Corp. “The continued growth of Ya YA Foods, combined with the support and opportunity found within the Quinte Region, inspired us to expand our operations here and invest further in the local community.”
The new facility is already making a meaningful impact locally. To date, Ya YA Foods Belleville has created over 94 local jobs, with 83 roles already filled. By 2030, the facility is projected to generate more than 300 jobs in the region, reinforcing Belleville’s strength as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
Building a company of this scale has not come without its challenges. “Like many growing manufacturers, scaling operations while maintaining quality and agility has always been a challenge,” Abbas noted. “Through strategic investments, strong partnerships, and a people-first approach, Ya YA Foods has continued to grow while maintaining operational excellence.”
Ya YA Foods Corp. brings nearly 40 years of experience to Belleville, with roots dating back to 1987. The company has grown from a single food operation into a fully integrated North American co-manufacturing leader, with facilities across Canada and the United States.
