Our Career Coach “reunion” took place at The Landing on June 17, celebrating 120,000+ minutes of conversations, shared 3,000 students in Grades 9 & 10.
The Belleville Chamber of Commerce ran this program again this year, as part of the HIEC – Halton Industry Education Council Career Lab.
This year, BCC Members volunteered their time and knowledge to sit at over 280 tables, in 14 schools, sharing their career journeys.
It’s not a conversation about what to do, but how the journey winds through life to get us where we are. It brings hope to the students we meet with, who are often anxious they will make a mistake, won’t have enough money, and don’t know how to choose a career.
