The Belleville Chamber of Commerce invites residents to hear directly from the candidates in the 2026 municipal election at the Ward 2 Candidates Meeting on Wednesday, October 14 at the Gerry Masterson Centre.
The program begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. The evening is an opportunity to hear from the Mayoral and Councillor candidates running in Ward 2, as well as School Trustee candidates.
Missed the Mayoral Debate?
The Ward 2 event follows a strong turnout at the Empire Theatre on Tuesday, September 29, where Ward 1 and Mayoral candidates worked through a packed agenda in front of a full house.
We often joke that “the Chamber brings people,” but this time the community came out in record numbers to hear from the candidates. We hope that enthusiasm carries through to the polls.
If you couldn’t be there, or want to watch the Mayoral debate again, it was taped live by YourTV Quinte and is available on YouTube: Watch the Mayoral debate
We’ll share the YourTV Ward 2 once it’s available, following the event.

The Chamber would like to thank all candidates for stepping forward to serve the community, and wishes them good door-knocking weather over the coming weeks. For updates, follow the Belleville Chamber of Commerce on social media and join the Facebook event for Ward 2!
