Signature Events

The Belleville Chamber coordinates four annual events.

What to Expect

The Belleville Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting is held each spring and is open to all Chamber members. It is your opportunity as a member to stay informed, hear directly from Chamber leadership, and participate in the governance of your organization. It typically runs from late morning into the early afternoon, and includes an update from the President, presentation of the Annual Financial Statements, and reports from Committee Chairs.

Voting

The AGM is open to all Chamber members, however each member business is entitled to register one vote. Please ensure your name and email are on file with the Chamber to be recognized as a member in good standing.

Pre-Registration Required

Space is limited and pre-registration is required to attend. Registration details and deadlines will be posted closer to the event date. If you have any questions or difficulty registering, please don't hesitate to contact Chamber staff. We look forward to seeing you there!

President's Dinner & Cornerstone Awards

Since its inception in 1864, the Belleville Chamber of Commerce gathers to welcome our incoming Chamber President at the Annual President's Dinner.
After many years of incorporating the formalities of the Annual General Meeting and keynote speakers, the Cornerstone Awards were incorporated to celebrate members for their Vision, Founder, Citizenship and Mentorship; sharing the real-life stories of the people who've helped build our community are a true inspiration.

Every year is different and the incoming President has the option of choosing a theme.  In 2026, we welcome the Ontario Career Lab as our theme partner, capturing the enthusiasm of our career coaches and reflecting the every day priority of our incoming President, Sandi Ramsay, CEO, Centre for Workforce Development

In a "high school yearbook flashback", guests were encouraged to think back to "what they wanted to be when they grew up" and let us guess by their dress what those dreams might have been, or come in their every day work wear.

Partners

This event is supported by a number of organizations, including OLG as our Presenting and Elexicon as our Premier partners and the evening brought together some of our community's most influential leaders, business owners, and stakeholders for a night as inspiring as it is memorable.

The Cornerstone Awards

The Cornerstone Awards are the heart of the evening. Presented annually, these awards recognize BCC Members behind Belleville's most successful and innovative businesses — the individuals who have gone above and beyond to strengthen our community, inspire those around them, and help make Belleville a place where business and people can truly thrive.
Awards are presented across the following categories:
Community Partner
Presented to an individual or organization that has been a valued partner in Chamber initiatives, receiving the honorary "Key to the Cabin" in recognition of their commitment to our shared mission.
Visionary
Presented to a BCC Member who has seen an opportunity to revive or create something unique and unprecedented, raising Belleville's profile and contributing to the overall prosperity of our community.
Founder
Presented to a BCC Member who has built a business from the ground up, or expanded an existing business in a way that enhances Belleville's reputation as a place where business comes to grow.
Citizenship
Presented to a BCC Member who has embraced the spirit of community through selfless acts and dedication to causes that improve the lives of Belleville's citizens.
Mentor
Presented to a BCC Member who, through their daily work, intentionally or not, helps develop others through their leadership and guidance.
Lifetime Achievement
One of the most distinguished of the Cornerstone Awards, presented to an individual who embodies the spirit of all the awards combined. They are, in every sense, a pillar of our business community.

Learn more about the Lifetime Achievement, and its history, in this video below:
Legacy
The Legacy Award, first presented in 2022, was created to commemorate a family whose impact on the economic development and growth of business in Belleville supersedes a single lifetime of achievement. The Legacy Award reflects a combination of the Cornerstone Awards: Citizenship, Foundation, Mentorship, and Vision. The prestigious Legacy Award is not awarded annually, but instead is awarded on special occasions.

BCC 55th Annual Golf Tournament

Each September, the Belleville Chamber of Commerce tees off for one of the most popular days on our events calendar: the Annual Golf Tournament! Held this year  at Trillium Wood Golf Course, this beloved tradition presented again by Elexicon, brings together Chamber members, local businesses, and the broader Belleville community for a day of friendly competition, great food, and meaningful connections.

The tournament is more than just a round of golf. It's a celebration of the community spirit that makes Belleville such a great place to do business, while also giving back to our community. In recent years, the tournament has partnered with a non-profit member turning a great day on the links into an opportunity to make a real difference and we're joined by Habitat for Humanity PEH for their second year with us.

This tournament has a history of selling out, so we encourage early registration!

Don't golf? Join us for dinner and enjoy the post-game fun!
And you can always volunteer...
What to Expect
Golfers enjoy a full day of fun with pre-game socializing, lunch, on-course activations and contests for golfers of all skill levels followed by dinner including prizes, raffle draws, silent and live auction competitions and a great swag bag to take home.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship opportunities are available at a variety of levels, from Condor to Bogey giving businesses of all sizes a chance to get their name in front of an engaged and active audience.  There is still time to join our featured premier partners below or choose a "day-of" sponsor package, donate items or add to the swag bag.

Quinte Small Business Week

Each October, the BCC is proud to join its regional partners — the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce and the Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce — in celebrating Small Business Week across the Bay of Quinte region! All events except for the Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala event are FREE to Chamber Members!

Together, the three chambers coordinate a week-long series of events, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to shine a spotlight on the entrepreneurs and small businesses that are the backbone of our local economy. The week is open to the entire regional business community and offers something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned business owner, just starting out, or simply looking to connect with others who share your drive.
BCC's "Not a Trade Show" Business Expo
One of the most popular events of Small Business Week is the Belleville Chamber's own "Not a Trade Show" Business Expo.

Rather than a traditional trade show format, this unique event gives business owners the opportunity to deliver a three-minute pitch about their business to a room full of peers, followed by dedicated networking time. With up to 40 presenters across multiple rounds throughout the day, it's a fast-paced, energetic, and genuinely fun way to get your name out there and to discover what your fellow business owners are up to.

Sessions are recorded in partnership with YourTV, shared on our BCC YouTube Channel, and select segments even air on television!
Quinte Business Achievement Awards (QBAAs)
The week culminates on Friday evening with the Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala! This is one of the most celebrated events in the regional business calendar. Businesses are nominated anonymously by customers, employees, and community members across a wide range of categories, recognizing outstanding business practices, community involvement, and exceptional customer service. Winners are selected by an impartial panel of business leaders, ensuring the process is merit-based and credible.

The QBAA Gala brings together the broader Bay of Quinte business community to celebrate excellence, and is a joint initiative supported by local municipalities, chambers of commerce, and business support organizations across the region.
Get Involved
From attending a workshop to pitching your business, sponsoring an event, or nominating a deserving business for a QBAA, there are many ways to be part of Small Business Week. Watch this space for details on this year's events and how to register.
