New AGCO-authorized retailer offers everyday low prices and free local delivery

BELLEVILLE, ON, Aug. 6, 2026 — The Belleville Chamber of Commerce joined its newest member, Budget Cannabis, for a ribbon-cutting event at 1 p.m. today, officially celebrating the grand opening of the new AGCO-authorized retail cannabis store in Belleville. Municipal dignitaries, representatives, and media were invited to attend and welcome the store to the local business community.
Established June 11, 2026, Budget Cannabis is a 100% Canadian, locally owned cannabis retailer built on a simple promise: legal cannabis shouldn’t cost more than it needs to. The store, located at #3-487 Dundas St. W., offers low prices on local cannabis products, along with free local delivery within Belleville. Budget Cannabis employs four local team members, and its owner says creating employment opportunities and contributing to the community it serves is a point of pride.
Budget Cannabis’s owner, who grew up in Surat, India, says their upbringing instilled the importance of hard work, community, and treating people with respect. These values now shape how the store treats its customers and staff. The owner chose to build the business in Belleville and the Bay of Quinte because of its welcoming, growing community, and strong local spirit; seeing an opportunity to offer friendly service, knowledgeable guidance, and affordable prices in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Its owner says the goal is to close the pricing gap that pushes some shoppers toward the unregulated market, and to make it easier for adults 19+ to choose safer, Health Canada-regulated products.
