BELLEVILLE, July 16, 2026 — The Belleville Chamber of Commerce brought out the scissors for a ribbon cutting on Thursday, July 9, to celebrate the new local ownership of Savour Italy Tours. Local dignitaries attended, including City of Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis, representatives from the offices of MP Malette, MPP Allsopp, Trenval Business Development Corporation, and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).
The ribbon cutting event was held at The Landing, at 75 South Church Street, and doubled as the BCC’s weekly Patio Pop-In. The public launch party for Savour Italy Tours celebrated new ownership under Zoltan and Colombe Lorantffy, who acquired the business in November 2025.
Savour Italy Tours is a luxury travel agency and has specialized in custom transformational travel tours and corporate packages to Italy, Euripe, and beyond for more than 20 years. Founded by their business partner, Antonio, Zoltan and Colombe are growing the business from their home base in Belleville to offer vacations beyond Italy. They will soon be offering destinations across Europe and Latin America, while preserving the authentic, personalized approach to travel that has defined the company since it began two decades ago.
Originally from Toronto, Zoltan and Colombe moved to the Belleville area in search of a slower, more nature-focused lifestyle with more room for their pets and home offices. An added bonus was being just minutes from Prince Edward County’s wine country! The couple also owns Zo&Co Lakehouse, a luxury vacation rental in South Frontenac, where they have spent several years building hospitality and guest-experience expertise. When the pair set out to acquire a business, Savour Italy Tours’ reputation for authentic, personalized travel stood out immediately, aligning closely with their own values and love of travel.
Despite steady rain throughout the evening for the launch party, guests turned out in strong numbers to celebrate with them. The evening featured Italian fare catered by Linguine’s Italian Restaurant, wine tastings from Nicholas Pearce Wines, and Italian wine and beer service from Bridge Street Bespoke. Members of the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, the Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce, and the Belleville Club, also joined the celebration.
“Our launch really was a dream come true, and to share it with our neighbours here in Belleville and the County made it even more special,” said Zoltan and Colombe Lorantffy, owners of Savour Italy Tours. “We want to say, ‘grazie mille’ to everyone who came out, rain and all, to celebrate this new chapter with us.”
At Savour Italy Tours, no two itineraries look the same. Every trip is thoughtfully designed around the traveller’s interests and travel style, supported by a network of trusted local partners and firsthand destination knowledge that helps clients discover experiences they wouldn’t find on their own.
“We are so grateful for the support Belleville has given us,” said Zoltan and Colombe Lorantffy. “Thank you to the Belleville Small Business Centre, Trenval Business Development Corporation, BDC, and Baldwin Law for their guidance throughout our acquisition journey, and to the Belleville Chamber of Commerce and everyone who joined us to celebrate. Building a business truly takes a community, and we’re proud to be growing ours right here.”
