The Oct. 14 Ward 2 event followed a strong turnout at the Empire Theatre on Sept. 29, where Ward 1 and Mayoral candidates worked through a packed agenda in front of a full house.
Similar to Ward 1, the Ward 2 event was a full house at the Gerry Masterson Centre, where neighbours and supporters filled the room to hear from Mayoral, Councillor, and School Trustee candidates. Watch the replay here.
We often joke that “the Chamber brings people,” and for both events the community came out in record numbers to hear from the candidates. We hope that enthusiasm carries through to the polls.
If you couldn’t be there, or want to watch either of the forums again, both were taped live by YourTV Quinte and is available on YouTube:

The Chamber would like to thank all candidates for stepping forward to serve the community, and wishes them good door-knocking weather over the coming weeks!
